Thoughts on wedding gloves?

I think it totally depends on the formality of your wedding. Personally, I won't be wearing them, my wedding won't be formal enough and they wouldn't match my dress. I do think they are very elegant, and if your venue and dress would suit gloves then I say wear them. When else in your life will you get away with wearing gloves like that?
