Would you ever spend $120 on shoes?

i really want a pair of UGG graduate's, they look really comfy and in style but they are 120 dollers. do most parents spend 120 dollers for there kids? i want to ask my mom for them, but are they too much money? what price do you usually spend on shoes? thanks
