Did the aztecs or mayans believe in reincarnation?

I believe it was the Aztecs that believed in three seperate afterlifes. One 'hell' for those who died of sickness or old age. 'Heaven' for warriors who die in battle, women who die in childbirth, and human sacrifices, and a middle ground for anything in between.
