Land on the moon for sale? WTFLOL?

Are you kidding me? Ive never seen a greater scam in such open publicity. My friend was trying to prove that he "bought" some land on the moon, which is clearly bullship. Like all those websites selling acres of land on the moon for 20 bucks? Im pretty sure there is the "treaty on principles governing the activities of states in exploration and use of outer space", which prohibits national appropriation or claim of sovereignty on any celestial bodies. So my question is, what do you think, is it a scam or not?
