Why are most people from Levant Arab countries idiots?

I've met many people from Syria , Lebanon , Jordan , etc. I don't mind Syrian or Jordan people, but the Lebanon ones are really annoying. Most of them don't follow their tradition and usually make up their own and call it "their tradition". They call themselves "arabs" when what they are doing contradicts this "arab". All lebanese people kiss up to Americans and basically imitate them or try to become like them. They think too highly of themselves. I'm not stating this over 5 years or 10 years of experience , but 15 years of experience with Lebanese people. I know now why they have civil wars.
