Why is McCain complaining after the fact about Gwen Ifill?

Actually, McCain can be quoted as speaking very graciously about the woman and suggesting that she will perform very professionally and objectively. Explain to me how a sensible person can be bothered by "McCain complaining" but is not outraged at the total absurdity of this person moderating the v.p. debate.
